The house is innovated from an old house which was constructed 15 years ago. After carrying out an evaluation, architect team would like to make use of old structure frame and start architecture work based on house’s usable parts. In order to meet the functional demands, the team designs second floor space in combination with a terrace. This combination creates enough demands of space in the house requested by the owner, at the same time it doesn’t change the old structure a lot of this house because this is related to the request for renovation permission.
The old mezzanine space is low, therefore in the new design, architect team also creates the difference in floor level, so changing the height of the mezzanine is essential.
The house is wide enough for architects to organize traffic along the transitional axis of space. Here the skylight is gradually expanded vertically to get the most appropriate convection system for static and dynamic spaces. Natural light is adequate from hallways, transitional parts and bedrooms. From the outside to inside, the natural elements create the necessary balance, the activities inside the house become better and cleaner.
The interior of the house is simply arranged, just enough to meet the needs of the homeowner. The main color is white, creating a bright and airy space for the overall space. Besides, the wooden color of interior brings a warm feeling to the house. Trees are specially used to grow in the space inside and outside of the house, giving a cool and fresh feeling. It shows closeness to nature.
The house also receives sunlight and natural light through a smart skylight designed from the roof top to the ground floor. Thanks to that fresh energy resource is always circulated within the house.
We hope that this house design will give inspiration for your building a dream house thanks to its simplicity and full necessary functions.
