Nam Ho Villa
The villa is located on the top of Nam Ho windy hill in Da Lat, a famous city of tourism in Vietnam with cool and fresh climate throughout the year. Around the villa is a “Valley of Light” and it is surrounded by hills and mountains with a typical expansive view of Da lat. The space is maximum opened and explores the most of viewing angles. Room structure ensures the personal privacy and the collective community when arranging centralized and knitting spaces. The ceiling system of ground floor is kitted by small wooden bars creating a special feature for the space.

The solution of freeing ground floor space combined with Japanese garden and using a discreet fence accentuates a serene look, evokes curiosity and excitement for the villa. In the attic, it is also prioritized for a large space mainly for collective activities specially viewing the beautiful scene at night.
The harmonious combination between traditional and modern features through typical sloping roof and innovative windows as well as glass partitions, sliding glass doors brings an expansive view and light look to interior. However, the modern aesthetic was mixed in the poetic landscape of Da Lat by the dark color of roof and surrounding wall of the villa. Japanese culture is integrated and shown through a Japanese garden and wooden bars on the sliding glass doors. Whereas the ground floor is freed to allow natural light leading deeply into the house creating an elegance and boldness of meditation space which is greatly matching with Da Lat – A living space close to nature and enhancing the value of nature.
Nam Ho Villa’s architecture aims at innovation of reforming appearance, material application and integration of cultural values appropriately with the place where the project is located, creating a remark of resort project bringing the blend of traditional and modern beauty.
