Increasing breathing space for a 147sqm apartment

In the meaning of “no redundance”, homeowners decided to discard most of cabinets close to the wall such as: TV stand, kitchen’s wall-mounted cabinets, and bedside cabinet. These cabinets have occupied such a big using area in the home and also taking a heavy sense to the space. Limiting cabinets close to the wall helps to change the home’s decoration and bring an inspiration to homeowners.

In the meaning of “no shortage” the presence of some cabinets such as under cabinets in the kitchen, wardrobe in the bedroom is not able to be limited. Homeowners have a lot of kitchen utensils, books and clothes that are all placed neatly in kitchen cabinet or wardrobe to avoid eye distraction and limit dirt.

By arranging kitchen utensils logically, everything is placed well-organized in a grey closet with enough functions for users. Wardrobe is painted in the same color with the wall to create a space connection increasing the spaciousness and airiness. Design of closet and wardrobe is oriented towards simplicity and square.

Interior furnitures are also used mostly in white such as window curtains, bedding sets. Wood color wall combined with a neutral grey wall in the kitchen and bathroom brings a luxurious and beautiful look. In addition, glass walls and mirrors are also actively used in the apartment to increase the visual space.

In the modern time, people are more and more interested in the quality of life, the meaning of furniture, and the minimalist lifestyle. Therefore, this apartment with lean design solutions can be an interesting suggestion for families’ reference.
