Designing A Dreamy Minimalist Apartment

Towards simplicity, eliminating all the excesses in life is what the owner of Palm Heights wants for his living space. ARCH. A Studio has created a great design work with subtle lines that evoke the beauty of minimalist design style, the curving arches that create depth for the space.

Refinement brings out the beauty of minimalist design style

Selecting minimalist design style, Palm Heights occupies a simple, gentle and elegant beauty. The apartment is covered in a simple and bright white color, combined with natural colors from wood, concrete floors and grinding stone to bring a general feeling of a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.

Simple but not monotonous, boring. Palm Heights is exquisitely designed with strange details and intentions. Unlike the usual living room spaces with well-groomed tables and chairs, Palm Heights is distinct from a wooden platform that spans the living room window. This is an ideal space for homeowners to use multifunctional, alternate activities between meditation, yoga or a place to relax and enjoy tea. The wooden platform is located next to a large window to receive plenty of natural light and life inspiration from the outside.

To increase connectivity, the living room cabinet is extended to the dining table position, both to add storage space and a bridge between the spaces.

Curved arches create depth for space

Rejecting the familiar plaster ceiling panels, the project chooses a stylized direction of the ceiling with curved arches in the space transfer areas. The arches look like moving rhythms, both creating depth for the house and creating softness next to the angular design details.

The bedroom is pleasant and comfortable.

Unlike common space, the bedroom is covered with a gentle lavender purple. Purple brings a different vitality, where the homeowner has the first feelings of a new day, and soothes the busyness of a passing day.

The bed with headboard is designed in a unified block, both bringing simplicity with the spirit of minimalism, and convenience. Large windows flood the room with light. Besides, the rattan chandelier or bedside reading lamp are also poetic light sources for the room.

Palm Heights is a poetic project on a floor area just enough with 70sqm. The scale of the apartment consisting of two bedrooms is absolutely an ideal design for a family of 3-4 people who love a simple, quiet but poetical life.
