The apartment is designed with a play space for children
With a small area, Explorer House designed by AworkDesign.Studio has the structure of a typical apartment with living, dining and resting zones. However, with creativity and flexibility in design, Explorer House’s living space has brought homeowners new, interesting and attractive living experiences.
The apartment located in Taiwan is designed to maximize the play space for children as well as enhance the natural light in the house.
Living room is the central area, located right at the main entrance leading to the apartment. Its interior is designed to be simple, youthful and modern with two main materials: concrete and wood. Besides the reception area, homeowner also decided to arrange a large wooden table next to the window to both study, work, and serve as a place to rest and eat for family members.
For families with little children, living space for children is an important item in the design and construction process. Accordingly, besides a double bedroom for two sons, the apartment has 2 small playgrounds with lots of toys and story books selected by parents based on children’s interests and ages.
The owner’s bedroom is private and quiet with bright, courteous colors, creating a light and comfortable space for rest and relaxation. Besides an entrance from the living room, the room also has a large glass door that opens to the balcony outside, contributing to significantly improving the ability to get light.
With ingenuity and flexibility in the design and construction process, architects have brought homeowners a versatile living space which is ready to meet the needs of studying, working, resting and entertaining for both parents and little children.
