The apartment status is considered unreasonable when its kitchen is limited in area because it is located in the middle of two walls separating two areas, the entrance hall and the shared bathroom. Therefore, the architect decided to break down the partition wall, widen kitchen area to connect with living room creating an airy space. Besides, shared toilet was also demolished to increase the area and functionality of the kitchen. From there, the second bedroom next door turned into a shared bathroom.
Prominent glass-walled bedroom in the middle of living room was created by architect to replace the function of demolished second bedroom. This space is separated from outside area by glass walls and chiffon curtains, smart bed layout so that it can be “hidden away” if not used. When guests go to the apartment, the owner can completely create an open space connected to the living room, making the room bright and spacious.
The master bedroom has a luxurious gray color scheme. The furniture is designed to optimize functionality, using wall systems and cabinets with drawers to store many things. Parents also designed a feminine private space with pink as the main color for their daughter’s bedroom. Natural light can shine through a transparent curtain layer to lighten the room.
The 150sqm apartment is a renovated model to expand functional spaces, making the daily life of the young family more comfortable. Not only that, the home is also the love of parents for their little daughter, so that she has a warm and happy childhood with her family.
