Instead of choosing bright, light colors, the owner of the apartment below has made a request for APS Concept to design an apartment as dark as possible. Regardless of that trust, APS Concept has brought a harmonious living space of color to satisfy the owner’s requirements. If you also love dark colors, you will not be able to take your eyes off the design of this apartment.

Instead of choosing a bright color gamut to expand the space as usual, the small apartment of 68sqm owns the main dark tone.

Sharing with the architect, owners said that they wanted a black apartment, different and, importantly, not outdated over time. With such a request, the team of architects decided to limit the colorful colors as much as possible. Instead, they chose neutral colors such as black, white, and gray to complete the work according to the wishes of the owners.

In a small apartment, if you use too many dark and cold colors, it will be difficult to avoid the cold and boring feeling. To balance the color and increase the cozy look, architects have added some interior details with hot colors such as earth gold, earth pink,… combine with golden light to create heat for the apartment.

Due to the choice of dominant dark colors, the appropriate lighting arrangement plays a very important role. To solve the problem of saving energy for daytime lighting, architects used a system of large glass doors close to the ceiling. This glass door system both helps to receive natural light, and to expand view to the outside space.

Although the bedroom is small, thanks to the minimalist and ingenious design, it still creates a spacious and peaceful feeling.

The curved arch frame with iron border creates a flexible partition between the living room and the kitchen without making the space stuffy.

The area of the apartment is not large, so the choice of interior layout without causing stuffiness is very important. Basically, the architect prefers to choose a multi-purpose interior system, recessed walls and sliding doors to minimize the waste of space.

Thanks to the clever choice of color palette, the apartment is not overwhelmed by dark colors but occupies a harmony, warmth and interesting difference. In addition, the integration of curved details in a modern space also creates a highlight, showing the owner’s own quality.
