An apartment of 70sqm is renovated to become modern with full functions

The apartment is designed with the idea of modern architecture while still using traditional materials such as cement, brick and wood for the kitchen.

The apartment with 70sqms was renovated by Semerene Arquitetura Interior.

This apartment is in Asa Sul, a peaceful street with a lot of green trees and blocks of old buildings in Brazil. The owner wants the apartment to be a space which is spacious, harmonious with outdoor nature and focusing on living space.

A wooden tea table with an impressed geometry is placed in the center of the living room. Geometric wall pictures perfectly match the details of tea table. In the living room there is also an area to hang souvenirs for decoration of the room.

The kitchen and living room are separated by a white brick wall. The prominent black television hanging on the wall creates a color contrast to this area. A small shelf under the TV holds a system of speakers.

A lot of antique masks are displayed in the apartment.

The kitchen is designed with natural and neutral color tones, with a rustic composition including white bricks, cement and wood. Next to the kitchen is a wall with many holes to help the kitchen become more open and receive natural light.

The dome of Mediterranean architecture style is elegantly brought into the kitchen.

There is a small table next to the kitchen for the homeowner to have breakfast or snack.

Next to the kitchen is a large reading room with plenty of light.

Indoor plants are places in the home to decorate for the rooms and purify the air.

Wooden dining table with 6 chairs are suitable for homeowners to have meals with guests.

White curtains ensure that kitchen space always has natural light.

The glass door helps to prevent cooking smell from kitchen to the reading room but still brings an open sight for the room.

Multi-color dining table lights create accents for the room.

The bedroom is furnished with minimal interior.

The space is decorated with neutral color tones which are the main tones throughout the whole apartment.

Wall ties with pastel color tone bring a cool sight for the bathroom.
