House of Future Contemporary – A Chic Home With Interference Of Eastern And Western Beauty
House of Future Contemporary is a chic and delicate home with contemporary style. Architects of Studio In2 made a surprise when combining classical beauty of Eastern architecture and modern and innovative features of Eastern architecture
Located in Taipei, Taiwan with a compact area, this two chic bedroom apartment, House of Future Contemporary, is designed and carried out by architects of Studio In2 to create a contemporary home. Howard Yu, William Sun are the main in-charge architects of this home. They have concentrated on the importance and ratio, from lines to colors of the apartment.
The interfered beauty of Eastern and Western architecture
House of Future Contemporary with mixed and unique style without disorder or patches. That is the combination of the new and the old, Western and Estern architecture, the warmth and cold rustic interior. In particular, it creates a balance, harmony and artistic sense. Two different styles being blended together will give both modern and futuristic living space while still bearing the beauty of Chinese culture.
The most impressive feature of this apartment is the strange combination of Western grey and the brown which is considered the main color of Eastern architecture. This combination takes away many people’s thinking of a boring and cold feeling when combining grey and brown colors. Design of House of Future Contemporary together with its furniture arrangement and smart decoration have already created an extremely modern and impressive space. While grey tone is a symbol of luxury, elegance and sophistication, spotted brown brings a little warmth, lightness and quietness for family members.
Following a minimalist style, not too cumbersome and colorful, architects have created a chic apartment with a large space in overall. All materials and furniture of House of Future Contemporary are modern. In order to make an harmony with main color tone, interior is designed in white, black and different bold and light brown colors.
The living room is quite simple with an elegant table, long sofa, golden brown chairs and a TV. Meanwhile the kitchen is overwhelmed with mysterious black of the most modern household items. Although two bedrooms and a reading room occupy quite small areas, they are very spacious and comfortable for using.
From the bedroom, it can be seen a hanging mirror with leather straps wrapped around it creating a chic feature and contrast in design. This becomes a highlight of room decoration with small details but still showing the different sophistication.
Open design helps to save area
To make House of Future Contemporary more spacious, architects have suggested an open design, removing unnecessary walls and partitions. However it still keeps privacy for family members by unique partitions of netting doors.
House of Future Contemporary possesses the uniqueness when using netting, vertical and pivoting doors. With the space directing to the South, the apartment inherits Southern cool winds. Pivoting doors brings the convenience of modern technology to the home. At the same time they also make natural lights easily spread throughout the apartment.
The use of both straight lines and curved lines creates a break and the owner’s personality. In particular, it forms flexible changes of living space. In addition, architects have made use of other design elements such as nets, ropes and pillars.
With a design against the time, House of Future Contemporary is a chic and artistic apartment with an unique beauty. The combination of Eastern and Western elements not only creates a uniqueness but also brings a spacious and flexible living space that gives wonderful comforts for owners.
